Bought this to add some low end to my monsoon system in a G6. Love it. The install was easy, and we were rollin in about 2 hours-power was the hardest part. I used the high level inputs, no remote power and just wired up power and ground to get it done. Turns on with signal on the speaker wires and that's all there is to it. I would say it hits hard, but I've def experienced a lot more bass. All things considered for 200 bucks you really can't beat this. After reading all the bad reviews of the BassLink, this was an easy choice. It's a little bigger than you might think based on the pictures, but not bad. Nice to have the remote to dial in just the right amount of bass for whatever you are listening to. Took a minute to figure out the best crossover freq, gain, etc...but it just takes a good ear and I stay on the low end for cleaner bass. Quick connects were the way to go on the speaker wires, so it's easy to uninstall and put into another vehicle. One small issue is that the high level connector has a very short pigtail, so I had to use about 3-4 ft of speaker wire. Anyone using RCA's won't have this problem. Good luck if you buy it, I know mine will get a lot of use.

I've asked myself for years, why Car audio companies dont follow in a similar fashion as home audio companies and produce a powered sub combo like home subs? (I am an avid home theater enthusiast) Finally Rockford Fosgate (one of the leading car audio companies) has produced a quality product. My question is, Why doesnt Rockford advertise/market this produce more?

I originally was looking at purchasing the Infiniti Basslink however looking at all the negative reviews, I decided to do more research. I stumbled upon a MTX sub and amp combo but it was way too big for my liking. My search continued and I found this Rockford Fosgate subwoofer. At the time, Amazon was out of stock and back-ordered so I purchased it from another website.
Installed it one day after receiving it and the installer was shocked at how much bass, how tight and clean it was. He said that for the price, you cant go wrong.
There is a 10" version of this sub, however I recommend the 12" if you arent absolutely strapped for truck room. Both boxes are relatively small and still conserve space in the truck.
I've had custom systems built in the past with dual 12's, multiple amps etc. Although the bass was louder, this Rockford Fosgate was cleaner.
For 0, you CANNOT go wrong.
Buy this, you will not be disappointed.

The included bass control knob is the right size and works flawlessly.
I will post pictures of the install for viewing.

BUY THIS, save time, save money, save room and have a clean adequate sound. No need for anything more than this.

Rockford ROCKS!
